Greetings! I hope this message finds you healthy and relatively unscathed as we emerge from our sheltered existnece. I'm very excited to be part of my first in person art exhibit since Covid began! During the pandemic I spent a lot of time experimenting and trying new techniques. I collaged and made Altered Books with Kim Lee Kho, played with different points of view in Art in the Garden and Interior Still Life with Kal Honey, "Brushed it Bold" with Sheila Davis, and brushed up on my portraiture with Anna Yuschuk. Of course I spent some time out in the field, painting en plain air. But my first love is the landscape, so I hope you manage to get a chance to see some of my new pieces which celebrate our emergence from our sheltered life of the last year and a half. Titles such as "Reaching for the Light", "Sheltering in Place", "Beginning to See the Light", "Spring Awakening"...well you get the message! In person viewing at Village Studios, 24 Downie Street in Stratford, August 14-28th. I will be present on August 21st from 1-3 pm. Invitation, below. Hope to see you there. Until then, stay safe. Mary Anne
